Support ranks

Support ranks are a way of grading how much support each platform receives, which changes based on the amount of information provided during test versions.

Platforms with a higher support rank get feature additions with higher priority and more thorough care.

  • Rank A - Actively supported / features added even without requests
  • Rank B - Addressed when problems or requests arise / requests are handled
  • Rank C - Addressed only for major issues / requests are not handled
  • Rank D - May work, but not supported / requests are not handled

Criteria for support ranks

Support ranks are decided based on a comprehensive review of factors such as the following. Changes happen at irregular intervals.

  • Number of users (usage reports)
  • Maintenance cost
  • Number of test users
  • Number of actively cooperating users
  • User activity on social media
  • Developer motivation
  • Platform stability

How to raise a rank

  1. An increase in active contributors
  2. An increase in and retention of test contributors
  3. Being featured on social media, streams, or videos
  4. Use by major streamers

※ We check reports on Discord and social media activity within what we can observe.
